Test Imogen Hartley

Imogen grew up in Saltcombe, two miles up the estuary, and joined Fenwick & Vale in 2011 after five years with a lettings firm in Exeter. She now looks after most of our sales in the Old Town and along Harbourside.

She is happiest with older houses: listed cottages, former net lofts and anything with a coal-hole nobody can explain. Sellers like that she gives honest advice on price; buyers like that she tells them about the damp before the surveyor does.

Outside work she rows with the Larkmouth gig club and is slowly restoring a 1960s clinker dinghy, which she says is "about a third finished".
